Moss, lichen and algae off your roof
Moss holds water against your tiles, lifts them as it grows and ends up in your gutters. Lichen and algae leave the roof patchy, green and black. We take all of it off and treat the roof so it stays cleaner for longer.
Soft wash first
Most roofs don't need high pressure, and blasting old concrete tiles can strip the surface. We soft wash most roofs: a cleaning solution at low pressure that kills the growth at the root. Where a tile can take pressure, we use it carefully.
Tiles and slate
Concrete tiles, clay tiles and slate roofs, on houses, bungalows, extensions and garages. We can do the gutters, soffits and fascias on the same visit.

Questions
Will cleaning damage my roof tiles?
Not the way we do it. Most roofs get a soft wash: a cleaning solution at low pressure that kills the moss, lichen and algae without blasting the tile surface. We only use more pressure on tiles that can take it.
What are the black streaks on my roof?
Usually algae. It grows on the north side of a roof and in damp, shaded spots. A soft wash takes it off.
Can you do the gutters at the same time?
Yes. Moss off a roof ends up in the gutters, so it makes sense to clear the gutters and wash the soffits and fascias on the same visit.
