Green algae and black mould build up on the north side of a house and anywhere that stays damp. Softwashing takes it off at low pressure, so render, paint and pointing aren't damaged.
Why not just power wash it?
High pressure on render can crack it, blow paint off and drive water into the wall. A soft wash cleans the surface and kills what's growing on it, which is why it stays clean longer.
Whole house, or just one wall
We do the full house, one gable, a garden wall or a boundary wall. Soffits, fascias and gutters can be done on the same visit.

What is softwashing?
Cleaning with a solution at low pressure instead of a high-pressure jet. It kills the algae and mould at the root, so it doesn't just look clean for a few weeks, and it doesn't damage render, paint or pointing.
Can you softwash pebbledash and painted render?
Yes. Pebbledash, smooth render, painted render, brick and cladding can all be soft washed.
How long does it stay clean?
Longer than a power wash, because the solution kills the growth rather than just knocking the top layer off. How long depends on how damp and shaded the wall is.
